Essential Autumn Skincare Routine

A good autumn skincare routine is essential to keep your skin healthy and hydrated as the weather starts to change.

During this season, cooler temperatures, lower humidity levels, and wind can take a toll on your skin.

Here is our guide for an autumn skincare routine that will help you maintain a radiant complexion:

Cleansing:

Begin your routine with our gentle cleanser. Cleansing removes dirt, excess oil, and impurities, preparing your skin for the rest of your skincare products. Avoid harsh or overly drying cleansers.

Exfoliation:

Exfoliation helps remove dead skin cells that can make your complexion look dull. Our facial scrub has alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) which can can help stimulate collagen, strengthen the skin and removes dead skin cells. We recommend using it 2-3 times a week. But be careful not to over-exfoliate, as this can lead to sensitivity.

Serums:

You may want to incorporate serums that target specific skin concerns. Hyaluronic acid serums are excellent for hydration, while vitamin C serums can help with brightening and evening out skin tone.

Moisturiser:

As the weather gets cooler and the air becomes drier, switch to a richer moisturiser to provide extra hydration. Look for products that contain ingredients like fatty acids, or hyaluronic acid to lock in moisture.

Sunscreen:

Even though the days are shorter and the sun isn’t as intense, it’s crucial to continue using sunscreen, especially if you’re using exfoliating products. UV rays are still present and can cause damage to your skin. Opt for a broad-spectrum sunscreen with at least SPF 30.

Lip Care:

Don’t forget to protect your lips from dryness and chapping by using a good lip balm Apply it throughout the day, as needed.

Eye Cream:

If you have concerns about under-eye puffiness or dark circles, consider using an eye cream with ingredients like peptides or hyaluronic acid to hydrate and soothe the delicate skin around your eyes.

Hydration:

Staying hydrated from the inside is just as important as applying products externally. Drink plenty of water and consider incorporating hydrating foods into your diet, like fruits and vegetables.

Adjustments for Skin Type: Keep in mind that individual skin types may require specific adjustments. If you have oily skin, you might need a lighter moisturiser, while those with dry skin may need to apply a thicker one.Sensitive skin may benefit from fragrance-free products.

Remember that consistency is key in any skincare routine.Give your skin time to adapt to new products, and be patient with the results. With the right autumn skincare routine, you can maintain healthy, radiant skin throughout the season.
